This engine can run on E85 and produce “at least” 280 hp, we can not imagine it would make less than a regular SUV’s 290 hp and 255 lb-ft. Ford said the Explorer is the fuel at least 20 percent more efficient than the outgoing Crown Victoria PI, which uses the 4.6-liter V-8 thirsty.
